Nordstrom Inc., Seattle, hired Alight Solutions — formerly Aon Hewitt — as record keeper of its 401(k) plan, the company disclosed in its recent 11-K filing with the SEC.
In the June 2 filing, the company said Aon Hewitt will “assume administrative services” of the plan effective Oct. 1. The Aon Hewitt record-keeping business adopted the Alight name on June 6. The current record keeper is Transamerica Retirement Solutions. The reason for the change was not given.
As of Dec. 31, the Nordstrom 401(k) Plan had $2.9 billion in assets, according to the 11-K filing.
Company spokeswoman Gigi Ganatra Duff could not immediately provide further information.
