Jason Yu joined Schroder Investment Management in Hong Kong as head of multiasset product, North Asia.
The position, working with institutional and intermediary clients in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan, is a new one, said a spokesman for the firm.
Mr. Yu comes to Schroders from Standard Life Investments in Hong Kong, where he served as an investment director — a client-facing “investment specialist” role — in multiasset for Asia-Pacific. A Standard Life spokeswoman in Hong Kong said Mr. Yu won't be directly replaced; his responsibilities will be absorbed by the firm's investment specialist team.
