Knox County, Knoxville, Tenn., is searching for an investment consultant for the city’s three defined benefit plans, said Matt Myers, county director of procurement, in an email.
The county issued a request for qualifications because the contract of current consultant Wilshire Associates is expiring soon; the firm is invited to rebid.
The three plans, all closed, are the $159 million Knox County Uniformed Officers Pension Plan, $57 million Knox County Teachers Retirement Plan and $43 million Knox County Closed Defined Benefit Plan.
The RFQ is available on the county’s website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT on July 28. A timetable for a decision was not provided.
