Deadlines are fast approaching to submit entries for Pensions & Investments' Excellence and Innovation awards as well as Best Places to Work in Money Management program.
Entries are due June 2 for the Excellence and Innovation awards, which are designed to recognize DC plan executives and employers for well-executed, creative and unusual projects that ensure participants have adequate retirement income. The program is co-sponsored by the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association.
Central to the awards are plan improvements that not only advance retirement outcomes in a particular plan, but also introduce ideas that potentially reverberate elsewhere in the industry. Awards for excellence recognize that good retirement outcomes result from outstanding execution, as well as innovation in design.
P&I and DCIIA seek programs implemented on or after Jan. 1, 2016. The awards will be presented Oct. 9 at P&I's annual West Coast Defined Contribution Conference in San Diego.

Results will be published online and in the Dec. 11 issue of P&I, and will include profiles and photos of top-ranked organizations.
