Dawson County School System, Dawsonville, Ga., is searching for an investment consultant for its $34 million 403(b) plan, said Jamie Ulrich, executive director of finance, in an email.
The school system is seeking an investment consultant to complete a “best practices” review of the plan within six months of the beginning of a contract, including a review of the investment options lineup. Then the system will decide whether to keep the consultant on an ongoing basis, or issue an additional RFP for ongoing services, which would be a first for the school system.
The RFP is available on the school system's website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT on June 6. A timeline for a decision was not provided.
