Registrar of Voters Employees’ Retirement System, Jennings, La., is searching for a custodian, said Lorraine Dees, director.
The $75 million pension fund issued an RFP because currently Capital One provides custodial services, while a small, local bank — The Bank — provides other services for the pension fund, Ms. Dees said, and she hopes to find a single bank to provide all services as she prepares to retire. All banks are invited to rebid; she did note she wants the custodian to have a local branch.
Proposals are due at 5 p.m. CDT on July 1. A decision is expected before the end of September.
The RFP is available on the pension fund’s website.
Separately, the pension fund has also issued an RFP for a director to replace Ms. Dees, who has been director of the pension fund since 1988. She hopes to retire before the end of September. Applications are due by 5 p.m. CDT on July 1.
