Nicholas Pappas will join alternative investment manager CQS (U.K.) as head of credit at the end of the summer.
Mr. Pappas is replacing Simon Finch who left in September, said Michael Rummel, a CQS spokesman. It could not be learned where Mr. Finch went. Mr. Pappas was co-CEO of Blue Mountain Capital Management’s European business.
Louisa Church, a partner and the other co-CEO has become the sole CEO, according to a news release. She will retain her position as head of client service advisory for Europe, the Middle East and Australia.
CQS manages about $12 billion and BlueMountain runs $22 billion in credit-oriented hedge fund and long-only strategies.
