Lake Zurich (Ill.) Firefighters’ Pension Fund is searching for a firm to manage all the fund’s $29 million in assets, said Jodie Hartman, treasurer for the pension fund, in an email.
The search is being conducted for due-diligence purposes, Ms. Hartman wrote. Incumbent manager MB Financial Bank is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on Lake Zurich’s website. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. CDT on June 16. Finalist interviews are tentatively scheduled for August with a hiring decision expected in October.
The pension fund has an asset allocation of 55% equity and 45% fixed income/money market investments.
