Hamilton Lane bolsters European team

Alternative investments manager Hamilton Lane appointed three new executives to boost its European team, said a spokeswoman.

Carolin Blank joined the firm as principal on the relationship management team. She was a senior director of relationship management-private equity at financial advisory firm Alvarez & Marsal Europe. Ms. Blank replaces an executive in the same role but Hamilton Lane’s spokeswoman declined to give further details. Alvarez & Marsal Europe was not available to immediately comment about a replacement for Ms. Blank.

Lali Sichinava was named vice president on the business development team in a new role covering the U.K. market. She was on the U.K. institutional sales team at Neuberger Berman. A spokeswoman said a search for an indirect replacement for Ms. Sichinava was underway.

Ahmed Khalil was named a vice president on the relationship management team, a new role. Mr. Khalil was a vice president at BlackRock (BLK) Private Equity Partners. A BlackRock spokesman was not able to comment about Mr. Khalil’s replacement.
