Klaus Schuster was named head of Europe at PineBridge Investments, said a spokesman.
Mr. Schuster is replacing Anthony King, who has decided to resign as regional CEO for Europe, Middle East and Africa, and will be leaving the firm. PineBridge's spokesman declined to comment on the details of Mr. King's departure, including his plans.
Mr. Schuster assumes the responsibilities of managing director of the U.K. office and head of Europe. His duties also include South Africa. He will report to Greg Ehret, CEO based in New York. Mr. Schuster was head of business development for Europe at PineBridge.
A spokesman also confirmed that Jamal Saab, managing director for business development in the Middle East, is running the Middle East following Mr. King's departure. Mr. Saab reports to Mr. Ehret.
