Julian Brown joined Russell Investments as director within the U.K. consultant relations team, said a spokeswoman.
The position is new. Mr. Brown is based in London and reports to Jim Leggate, head of the U.K. institutional and Middle East businesses.
“(Mr. Brown's) longstanding relationship with the U.K. pension fund and investment consultant community will allow us to build upon the growth of our institutional business in the U.K.,” Mr. Leggate said in a news release.
Mr. Brown joins from Blackrock, where he was head of U.K. consultant relations. “Mr. Brown will be replaced, but for the time being his responsibilities will be absorbed by a team of 35,” said a BlackRock spokeswoman.
