Sonia Gogna joined Aon Hewitt's fiduciary management team as principal, a spokeswoman said.
It is a new position. Ms. Gogna focuses on large pension funds with more than £1 billion ($1.29 billion) in assets.
Ms. Gogna's appointment “reflects the growing demand we are seeing from large pension schemes for bespoke investment and governance solutions,” said Sion Cole, senior partner and head of European distribution for Aon Hewitt's delegated investment business, in a news release.
Ms. Gogna was a senior investment strategist within the multiasset solutions business in Europe, Middle East and Africa at State Street Global Advisors.
A spokeswoman for SSGA was not available to comment about Ms. Gogna's replacement by press time.
