Judy Marlinski was named president of Fidelity Institutional Asset Management, said Don Lim, spokesman.
She will replace Scott E. Couto on July 1. Mr. Couto is leaving Fidelity at the end of June. He has been president of FIAM since April 2016. Mr. Lim declined to comment on Mr. Couto's plans.
Ms. Marlinski is head of Fidelity's investment product solutions and innovation organization and will report to Jeffrey Lagarce, president of Fidelity Institutional. Ms. Marlinski's replacement in her current position has yet to be determined, Mr. Lim said.
