Kia Motors America Inc., Irvine, Calif., hired Transamerica Retirement Solutions as record keeper for its 401(k) plan, said Sally Tresser, senior benefits specialist, in an email.
Transamerica replaced MassMutual Financial Group, effective April 1. Ms. Tresser did not give a reason for the change.
As of Dec. 31, 2015, the Kia Motors America 401(k) Plan had $57 million in assets, according to the company's most recent Form 5500 filing.
