Mark Burbach was named chief investment officer at Bahrain-based Osool Asset Management.
Mr. Burbach joined in April, according to the firm's website.
Osool runs investments across sectors and geographies in line with rules and guidelines set out by the Central Bank of Bahrain. It invests on behalf of pension funds and institutional clients in Bahrain and other markets, said its website.
Mr. Burbach was chief investment officer at Dutch pension administrator Blue Sky Group, which has €19 billion ($20.7 billion) in assets under management and oversees the assets of the Pensioenfonds Vliegend Personeel KLM, Amstelveen. A Blue Sky spokesman said the firm is in the process of hiring a new CIO.
Executives at Osool could not be reached for comment by press time.
