Narina Mnatsakanian was named director of impact and responsible investment at Kempen Capital Management, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new, and Ms. Mnatsakanian joins June 1. She will be key in advancing the firm’s environmental, social and governance initiative, said a news release Thursday.
Ms. Mnatsakanian’s “excellent experience in impact investing will further boost Kempen’s ethos and market standing as a long-term responsible investor,” said Lars Dijkstra, chief investment officer at Kempen, in the news release. “This new appointment is part of our continued commitment to active ownership and shareholder engagement for the benefit of all stakeholders.”
Ms. Mnatsakanian was director of impact, ESG and investor relations at private equity boutique Sarona Asset Management. Executives could not be reached for comment by press time.
