Watertown (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for an active global fixed-income manager to run $4 million to $5 million.
Only commingled vehicles will be considered.
Fiduciary Investment Advisors, investment consultant to the $158 million pension fund, is assisting with the search.
This is a routine search to comply with state laws, said Maura K. Goulart, director of client services at Fiduciary Investment Advisors. Brandywine Global Investment Management is the current manager and will be submitting a proposal, Ms. Goulart said.
The RFP is available on Fiduciary Investment Advisors' website. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EDT on May 25. A decision is expected by the end of the third quarter.
