Tennessee Department of the Treasury, Nashville, is searching for a record keeper for its $93 million 529 plan and $4 million Achieving a Better Life Experience program.
The department has issued an RFP for a single record keeper for both plans. The ABLE plan was launched in June 2016. Whether that plan currently has a record keeper, and the firm currently providing those services for the 529 plan, could not be learned by press time.
The RFP is available on the state’s website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT on May 19. A decision is expected on June 15.
Shelli King, the department’s spokeswoman, did not return a phone call seeking further information by press time.
