Damon Krytzer was named managing director, institutional business development at alternative investment manager Highland Capital Management LP, spokeswoman Lucy Bannon said.
The position is new. Mr. Krytzer will focus on credit, and growing and developing Highland's institutional business. He will report to Brad Eden, global head of marketing and investor relations.
Mr. Krytzer was managing director and head of marketing and client service at structured credit manager Greywolf Capital Management. It could not be learned by press time whether he was replaced; a Greywolf Capital spokesman could not be immediately reached for comment.
Dallas-based Highland Capital Management has about $15 billion in assets under management.
