Clearwater, Fla., is searching for an investment consultant for its $63 million 457 plan and $8 million 401(a) plan, said Alyce Benge, city purchasing manager.
The city issued an RFP because the contract of current consultant Montgomery Retirement Plan Advisors is expiring soon; the firm is invited to rebid, Ms. Benge said.
Proposals are due at 10 a.m. EDT on May 11. The City Council is due to vote on an award recommendation June 1, with a new five-year contract beginning later in the month.
The RFP is available on the city’s purcashing website.
