Oregon State Treasury, which serves as investment staff for the Oregon Investment Council, is searching for a private equity investment officer.
The person would replace Andy Hayes, who left in December. The Tigard-based council invests on behalf of the $70 billion Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund, Salem.
Requirements include a minimum of seven years’ experience reviewing, analyzing or managing portfolios, and a “solid understanding” of capital markets with some exposure to private equity strategies.
The treasury currently has two private equity investment staff overseeing its $13.9 billion private equity portfolio.
The job posting is on the Oregon treasury website. Applications will be accepted through May 12.
