Tempe, Ariz., hired Hyas Group as investment consultant for its 401(k) and 457 plans, said Michael Greene, city procurement officer, in an email.
The city issued an RFP in December. Incumbent consultant SST Benefits Consulting was invited to rebid, but did not. SST Benefits Consulting was acquired by insurance broker and consultant NFP in September. Other finalists were Innovest Portfolio Solutions and Segal Marco Advisors.
The plans have combined assets of $158 million.
