Savannah (Ga.) Employees' Retirement Plan is searching for an investment consultant, said David Maxwell, the city's chief financial officer and director of the finance department, in an email.
The $346 million pension fund issued an RFP for a consultant to advise the pension fund's board on “appropriate investment guidelines, goals and asset allocation,” as well as provide quarterly manager evaluations and assist in any manager searches, the RFP said.
The current consultant is DeMarche Associates; the firm is eligible to rebid.
Proposals are due by 12:30 p.m. EDT on April 25. A decision should be made within a month or two of finalist presentations in May, pending City Council approval, Mr. Maxwell said.
The RFP is available on the city's website .
