C. James Yeh is returning to his former role as head of Citadel’s global quantitative strategies division.
Mr. Yeh ceded the role to Jonathan Graham in 2013 when he left the hedge fund manager after a 20-year stint to spend more time with his family, said Zia Ahmed, a Citadel spokesman.
Now, Mr. Graham is ready to “take a break from finance,” and will leave Citadel in a few weeks after a transition period, Mr. Ahmed said.
With Mr. Graham’s departure, Mr. Yeh now will lead the hedge fund manager’s entire quantitative business. Mr. Yeh rejoined Citadel in January to oversee the firm’s equity quantitative research and global trading groups, a role he will retain, Mr. Ahmed said.
Citadel manages $26 billion in hedge funds.
