Pat Robertson, executive director of the $25.1 billion Mississippi Public Employees’ Retirement System, Jackson, will retire in mid- to late 2018, she announced on the pension fund’s website.
Ms. Robertson, who joined the pension fund in 1980 and has been executive director since 2005, said in a letter that an ad hoc committee has been established by the board of trustees to search for a permanent replacement.
Shelley Powers, pension fund spokeswoman, could not immediately provide further information; Ms. Robertson was not available by press time.
