Boston Retirement System is searching for international small-cap equity managers to run about $125 million.
NEPC, investment consultant to the $4.1 billion pension plan, is assisting with the search.
The allocation may be invested with one or more managers. Each firm's strategy must have a three-year track record and have at least $300 million in assets within the strategies to be considered. Current pension fund managers are encouraged to submit proposals. The RFP is available on NEPC's website.
Proposals are due by 3 p.m. EDT on April 7. A selection date was not disclosed.
