Alex Wharton was named U.K. client solution director at Aviva Investors, said a spokesman.
Mr. Wharton focuses on insurance, corporate and government-sponsored pension plans, and other institutional clients.
The spokesman said the position opened as a result of an internal move. It could not be learned by press time whom Mr. Wharton replaced.
Mr. Wharton joins from Natixis Global Asset Management, where he was U.K. and Ireland institutional business director and head of insurance. A spokeswoman for Natixis was not available to comment on any replacement by press time.
