Charles Jewkes joined Fulcrum Asset Management as global financial institutions director, said a spokesman.
The role is new. Mr. Jewkes is responsible for global relationships with insurers and banks within the investor relations team. He reports to CEO Andrew Stevens.
“Since 2004 we have built a strong track record in managing multiasset solutions and I look forward to welcoming (Mr. Jewkes) as we grow our presence with global financial institutions,” Mr. Stevens said in a news release.
Fulcrum has £5 billion ($6.1 billion) in assets under management.
Mr. Jewkes was relationship director with the global insurance asset management team at Schroders. A spokeswoman at Schroders said Mr. Jewkes' responsibilities were reallocated internally.
