Ben Schryber has joined alternative investment firm Carlyle Group as a managing director, focused on credit fundraising and business development, said Elizabeth Gill, spokeswoman, in an email.
This is a new position. Mr. Schryber will be based in New York and will report to Mark Jenkins, head of global credit and Mike Arpey, head of investor relations.
Mr. Schryber was global head of credit at placement agent firm First Avenue Partners.
