Vanessa Sea was named a strategic relationship manager at PanAgora Asset Management, said Robert Job, head of business development and client solutions.
The position is new. Ms. Sea will join PanAgora’s distribution team and focus on consultant relations, outsourced chief investment officer and hedge fund marketing efforts. She will report to Mr. Job.
Ms. Sea previously worked at PT Asset Management, where she developed the firm’s institutional credit hedge fund business. Mr. Job did not know her previous title at PTAM, and it could not be learned by press time whether she was replaced; PTAM spokeswoman Rachel Ford did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.
PanAgora had $42.7 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
