Arthur Grigoryants joined RWC Partners as head of investment strategy, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new. Mr. Grigoryants focuses on investment and management at the $10 billion money manager.
“RWC is seeing significant opportunity as investors increasingly allocate their active management mandates to specialist investment organizations. The environment is rapidly changing, and we think it is critically important that we invest in infrastructure to ensure we retain focus on our clients’ needs,” RWC’s CEO Dan Mannix said in a news release.
Mr. Grigoryants was a partner and co-chief investment officer at Stonehage Fleming. A spokeswoman for the family office said Mr. Grigoryants was not replaced. His responsibilities were shared across members of the investment committee, which is chaired by Graham Wainer, CEO and head of investments, U.K.
