University of Florida, Gainesville, is searching for a bundled provider for a new 401(a) plan, said Nicola Heredia, assistant director, university procurement services.
The university has issued an invitation to negotiate for the new plan, which Ms. Heredia said is being created to “complement what we already have.”
Only current record keepers of the university’s 403(b) plan are invited to bid, Ms. Heredia said. The 403(b) plan record keepers are Fidelity Investments, MetLife, TIAA-CREF, VALIC and Voya Financial.
Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EDT on March 30. A selection is scheduled for sometime in May.
The ITN is available on the university’s website.
The asset size of the 403(b) plan could not be immediately learned.
