Dominic P. Murphy, KKR & Co. member and head of the U.K and Ireland, will be leaving the alternative investment firm in June, confirmed sources close to the firm.
He will be replaced by Timothy R. Franks, member, who joined KKR’s London office in November to lead the coverage of the consumer and retail private equity sectors in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Mr. Franks also sits on KKR’s European private equity investment committee.
Mr. Murphy also is head of KKR’s health-care industry team for Europe. KKR is searching for a senior executive for its health-care investment team. Kristi Huller, KKR spokeswoman, declined to comment. Mr. Murphy could not be reached by press time.
