Bristol County Retirement System, Taunton, Mass., is seeking a domestic large-cap growth equity manager and a domestic large-cap value equity manager to each run about $50 million for the defined benefit plan.
Segal Marco Advisors, investment consultant to the $600 million pension fund, is assisting with the searches.
The searches are being conducted to comply with state law that requires putting contracts out for rebid every seven years, said Roxanne L. Donovan, executive director of the pension fund. INTECH, Columbia Threadneedle Investments, LSV Asset Management and Lyrical Asset Management are the current large-cap equity managers and are invited to rebid.
The RFPs are available on Segal Marco's website. Proposals for both searches are due by 3 p.m. EDT on April 4. Selections are likely to be made in May or June, Ms. Donovan said.
