Mr. Gardener was global head of AXA Investment Managers' institutional client group. Since July he has been a senior client adviser, working closely with the firm's institutional clients and prospects across the globe, said a statement provided by an AXA spokeswoman. Mr. Gardener will not be directly replaced. AXA recently restructured its client group to simplify the organization.
