El Paso (Texas) Firemen & Policemen Pension Fund committed $8 million to EnCap Energy Capital Fund XI, said Tyler C. Grossman, executive director of the $1.25 billion pension fund, in an email.
The oil and gas fund is managed by EnCap Investments.
The pension fund, which has a 10% private equity target, has previously committed to other EnCap funds.
