South Carolina Retirement System Investment Commission, Columbia, hired active international small-cap equity managers Man Numeric Investors and Algert Global at a meeting on Thursday.
Each manager will run about $573 million for the $28.8 billion South Carolina Retirement Systems, Columbia, which the commission oversees, according to a webcast of the meeting.
Danny Varat, a spokesman, did not respond to an email seeking more information about the funding source of the hires.
