Tony Pugh joined Aon Hewitt as head of defined contribution solutions for Europe, Middle East and Africa, a spokeswoman said.
The role is new. “Aon's range of DC services has grown considerably in the last couple of years and I am certain that Mr. Pugh's knowledge and approach will help us both to consolidate and build on (our) position,” said Andy Cox, CEO EMEA at Aon Hewitt, in a news release.
Mr. Pugh had been a senior partner at Mercer, where he led the U.K. and European DC retirement business, advising U.K. and multinational companies on their DC arrangements. A spokeswoman said the firm has no plans to replace him.
