Denis Gambi has joined BNY Mellon Investment Management in Sydney as director institutional business, Australia, the firm announced Monday.
The position is a new one for the Australian business, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Gambi has been doing consulting work since leaving the role of head of product with AMP Capital, the spokeswoman said.
In a news release, Phil Filippelis, the firm's country head for Australia, said Mr. Gambi joins BNY Mellon Investment Management Australia at a time of growing demand for strategies offered by the firm's investment boutiques, including private debt, alternatives and multi-asset strategies.
