Oklahoma Teachers seeks deputy executive director

Oklahoma Teachers' Retirement System, Oklahoma City, is searching for a deputy executive director, said Tom Spencer, executive director of the $14.4 billion pension fund, in an email.

The deputy executive director will operate like a chief operations officer, overseeing the pension fund's internal operations, Mr. Spencer said.

The retirement system has not had this exact position before, he said.

The job posting is available on the website of the National Association of State Retirement Administrators.

There is no timeline for a hiring decision.
