Idaho Public Employees’ Retirement System, Boise, committed $50 million to buyout fund Silver Lake Partners V, said Robert Maynard, chief investment officer, in an email.
It is the $15.7 billion pension fund’s first commitment to a fund managed by Silver Lake.
The pension fund’s current private equity allocation is 6.3%. The benchmark for private equity is 6%.
