Westfield (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for an investment manager or managers to run about $12 million in an active emerging market equities allocation.
Large-cap, small-cap and all-cap core strategies will be considered. However, only commingled investment vehicles will be considered.
The search is being conducted to comply with state law that requires putting contracts out for rebid every seven years, said Raymond Depelteau, chief investment officer for the $200 million system. Wells Capital Management and Fisher Investments are the current managers and are invited to rebid.
The RFP is available from Lynn Rea, retirement administrator, via email at [email protected].
Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EST on March 1. Mr. Depelteau said he expects a selection to be made in April.
