Hawaii Employees' Retirement System, Honolulu, has issued an RFP for a real estate consultant.
The search is being conducted due to the March 31 contract expiration of incumbent real estate consultant Courtland Partners, Vijoy Chattergy, the pension fund's chief investment officer, recently told Pensions & Investments.
The RFP is available on the $15 billion pension fund's website. Proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. Hawaii time on March 2. A hiring decision is expected on May 5. The new contract is expected to start in July.
The pension fund's real estate holdings fall under its broad growth portfolio, which has an overall target of 63%.
