Craig J. Farr joined alternative investment firm Carlyle Group as a senior adviser consultant with the firm’s global credit group, said Elizabeth Gill, spokeswoman, in an email.
It is a new position. Mr. Farr, who started on Jan. 25, will help Carlyle in developing new strategic initiatives and partnerships across Carlyle’s credit business.
Until the middle of 2016, Mr. Farr had been an adviser for alternative investment firm KKR & Co., confirmed KKR spokeswoman Kristi Huller. He had been KKR’s global head of capital markets and credit until February 2015 when he became a senior adviser.
