Weymouth (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System hired Loomis Sayles & Co. to manage $14 million in a domestic large-cap growth equity strategy.
Fiduciary Investment Advisors, investment consultant to the $178 million defined benefit system, assisted with the search.
The pension plan’s website lists Westfield Capital Management as its domestic large-cap growth equity manager as of Dec. 31. It could not be learned by press time if Westfield was replaced.
Maura Goulart, director of client services at Fiduciary Investment Advisors, said that Loomis was one of four finalists, but did not name the other managers.
The RFP was issued in September.
