Kansas Public Employees sets $75 million for forestland fund

Kansas Public Employees Retirement System, Topeka, committed up to $75 million to RMS Evergreen U.S. Forestland Fund, spokeswoman Kristen Basso said in an email.

The open-ended timber fund is managed by Resource Management Service.

The $16 billion pension fund has an 8% long-term alternatives target.
