Louisiana Municipal Police Employees Retirement System, Baton Rouge, is searching for an executive director, said Kathy Bourque, director.
Ms. Bourque could not specify whether the new position oversees the money management of the $1.8 billion pension fund, but said the person would be “in charge of the retirement system.” A special committee is scheduled to meet sometime before the pension fund’s Feb. 15 board meeting to decide on finalists for the position. The application period ended at the end of December, Ms. Bourque said.
Kelli Rogers, who held the title of chief financial officer at the pension fund from March 2014 until she resigned in May 2015, was the pension fund’s most recent top investment officer. That position was never filled.
