LGIM adds 2 custom solutions heads; insurance business names pension risk transfer leader
Anna Troup and Mehdi Guissi joined Legal and General Investment Management as head of U.K. bespoke solutions and head of European bespoke solutions, respectively, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Also, Chris DeMarco joined the Legal & General insurance business as managing director of U.K. pension risk transfer. He moved internally from LGIM, where he was head of institutional client management. Information on a replacement for that position could not be learned by press time.
All of the positions are new, spokesmen for both businesses confirmed.
Ms. Troup and Mr. Guissi will work across LGIM’s investment and distribution teams in the U.K. and Europe.
Mr. Guissi plans and structures custom portfolio management services for large insurance, pension plans and other financial clients, said a news release.
They both report to Graham Moles, head of portfolio solutions.
Ms. Troup joins from BlueBay Asset Management, where she was a partner and portfolio manager on the emerging markets team. A spokesman for BlueBay said she was not replaced.
Mr. Guissi joined from Lombard Odier Investment Managers, where he was head of insurance and pension solutions for three years. A spokesman was not available for a comment by press time.
