Julia Szlakowski was named institutional director-unlisted, Americas, at AMP Capital, said a spokeswoman for the Australian money manager.
It is a new position. Ms. Szlakowski, who started at the end of December, is in charge of North American distribution of the firm’s infrastructure debt and equity strategies.
Ms. Szlakowski is based in AMP’s new Orange County, Calif., office and reports to Boe Pahari, managing partner, global head of infrastructure equity and director of the northwest region at AMP.
Previously, Ms. Szlakowski was vice president at fund placement agent Champlain Advisors. A Champlain official could not immediately be reached for information on a replacement.
As of June 30, AMP had A$160 billion ($119.5 billion) in assets under management.
