Rich Robben was named interim chief investment officer at Kentucky Retirement Systems, Frankfort, replacing David Peden, effective immediately, said David L. Eager, interim executive director of the $15 billion system.
Mr. Eager declined to comment on Mr. Peden's departure. Mr. Peden could not immediately be reached for comment.
Mr. Robben previously served as KRS' deputy CIO and director of fixed income. Mr. Peden took over as chief investment officer in 2013 after serving as KRS' director of fixed income.
KRS is still awaiting the full results of an audit by PFM Group, which could come out in February or March. The retirement system does not anticipate making a decision on a permanent CIO before then, Mr. Eager said.
